Trust House Lancashire’s training aims to provide education to support professionals from a range of specialist and non-specialist backgrounds who are working with survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
Our training is run by training professionals who also understand the needs and issues of those individuals that have been subjected to sexual violence or abuse and how to best respond and support. Our aim is to give individuals, from both universal and specialist services, the capacity to be more effective in this area of their practice, enabling them to feel more confident, and to understand and respond to the needs of their clients.
Our training is flexible and can be delivered digitally and face to face and includes a variety of topic areas related to sexual violence and abuse. Additionally, we offer smaller training courses that cover an array of subjects, and these can be added onto your training package. We are also able to tailor training, creating bespoke courses on request to meet the more precise needs of your service or organisation. After our training courses, we provide post course materials; this includes a Resource Book, a completed workbook, and a certificate.
We are currently working with variety of organisations including local authority specialist teams, school, NHS and local universities.
