We offer Counselling and Therapy
Trust House Lancashire provides free specialist counselling to men, women and children aged 4+ who are resident in the Lancashire area and have experienced any form of sexual violation at any time in their lives.
Our counsellors are qualified and experienced person-centred counsellors, psychotherapists or play therapists.
Some of our counsellors may be in the final stages of qualification and completing their final placement hours. All are BACP registered. For younger children, counselling is age and developmentally appropriate. All of our counsellors undergo a comprehensive training programme delivered in-house prior to commencement of work with us.
We offer Independent Support whilst going through the Legal Process
Trust House Lancashire has 2 Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) who work with children, young people and adults as young as age 4 years. ISVAs are specialists in providing practical and emotional support for adults, children and young people who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation and are involved with a criminal justice process. Support is also offered to parents and carers.
Trust House Lancashire has policies and procedures in place to enable effective service delivery. These are available on request. Trust House adheres to local Safeguarding Children’s procedures.
